ClearedPath ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of cleared professionals, military service members, and all users of our platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide our services:

Email address — when you join our waitlist or create an account
Name — if you choose to provide it during signup
LinkedIn profile data — only if you explicitly connect your LinkedIn account, and only the data LinkedIn's API makes available (name, headline, connections at companies). We never access your messages or post on your behalf.
Resume content — if you use our Resume Translator or EPA/BRAG Sheet Analyzer, the text you paste is processed in your browser and is not stored on our servers.
Usage data — anonymous analytics such as pages visited, features used, and browser type. No personally identifiable information is included.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect security clearance documentation, SSNs, or government credentials
We do not store classified or sensitive compartmented information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties
We do not share your data with recruiters or employers without your explicit consent

3. How We Use Your Information

To manage your waitlist position and notify you when access is available
To send product updates, feature announcements, and relevant content (you can unsubscribe anytime)
To improve our platform based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns
To provide personalized job recommendations and career tools when the full platform launches

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is protected using industry-standard security measures:

Encryption in transit — all data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS
Encryption at rest — stored data is encrypted using AES-256
Access controls — only authorized personnel can access user data
No plaintext passwords — passwords are hashed using bcrypt

Waitlist emails are stored with our third-party email service provider, which maintains SOC 2 compliance and encrypts all data at rest.

Waitlist management — to collect and manage waitlist signups
Analytics — anonymous usage analytics to improve the platform
LinkedIn OAuth — for optional LinkedIn account connection (when available)

Each third-party service has their own privacy policy. We only work with providers that meet our security standards.

You have the right to:

Access your data — request a copy of all data we hold about you
Correct your data — update or fix any inaccurate information
Delete your data — request complete removal of your information from our systems

We retain your email address for as long as you remain on our waitlist or maintain an account. If you request deletion, we remove your data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data (which cannot identify you) may be retained for product improvement.

9. Children's Privacy

ClearedPath is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
